Personalized Medicine Coalition Announces Gina Ross Murdoch as Next President and CEO

The Personalized Medicine Coalition (PMC), a 501(c)3-designated nonprofit organization supported by more than 200 businesses, patient advocacy groups, and care delivery institutions, is pleased to announce Gina Ross Murdoch, MBA, as the Coalition’s next President and CEO.

Ms. Murdoch is a respected leader known for her expertise partnering with biotech, pharmaceutical, and healthcare organizations to align strategy, policy, and partnerships with high impact for both patients and markets. Known for a collaborative, data-driven leadership style, she has served as President and Chief Executive of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America and Deputy Executive Director of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (now Blood Cancer United), in addition to key roles at the American Diabetes Association, the MS Coalition, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the American Cancer Society.

“As precision approaches continue to transform prevention, diagnosis, and treatment worldwide,” she said, “PMC has a unique opportunity to expand its reach, influence, and global partnerships.”
Among Ms. Murdoch’s top priorities in her new role:
  • Deepening cross-sector and international collaboration to accelerate innovation and evidence development
  • Advancing patient-centered, evidence-based policy that supports scalable and equitable adoption of personalized medicine
  • Augmenting the patient voice in promoting access to and knowledge of precision medicine advances
  • Expanding PMC’s national and global footprint, strengthening connections across regions and health systems
  • Working with PMC’s current and new members to advance the Coalition’s mission and priorities
