Michael Ybarra, M.D., is a board-certified emergency physician and Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at PhRMA. In his capacity at PhRMA, Dr. Ybarra leads stakeholder outreach and strategic partnerships on federal and international health policy issues and PhRMA’s internal and external medical affairs. Dr. Ybarra works clinically in the Emergency Department at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
