On May 24, 2023, PMC convened an audience of journalists, policymakers, and business leaders at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, where National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) Director Eric Green delivered the Coalition’s Annual State of Personalized Medicine Address on the past, present, and future of the field.

The 2023 State of Personalized Medicine Luncheon helped commemorate the 20th anniversary of the completion of the Human Genome Project. Dr. Green revisited the promise of personalized medicine, reviewed its past, and defined its significance for the future of health care.
