The House of Pharma & Healthcare is an association of all parties involved in the pharmaceutical value chain. It brings together stakeholders from universities, non-university research institutions, pharmaceutical industry, SMEs, political parties, health insurance companies, patient organizations, physicians, pharmacists, health initiatives and regulatory authorities with the aim of achieving significant synergies. In this way, the association will contribute to the international visibility of Germany in translational research, help to close the innovation gap in drug development and contribute to more efficient use and distribution of resources.
Particular focus of the House of Pharma & Healthcare is placed on:
- encouragement of cross-linked, future-orientated research in the pre-competitive area
- training of highly qualified staff and junior executives
- establishment of an independent and neutral discussion platform for an interdisciplinary solution to problems in the health system
