Telome Health, Inc., (THI) leverages the predictive power of telomere and telomerase assays to assess drug response, health status, and disease and mortality risk. The mature and powerful science, and the recent Nobel Prize award to THI Co-founder Dr. Elizabeth Blackburn, provides the technology base for a range of commercial applications. An initial THI priority will be to work with Pharma on drug response collaborations where blood cell telomere length, which reflects overall cellular health, including aging of the immune system, is predictive of drug response using an existing proprietary assay available from THI. A growing bibliography of drug response publications suggests potential utility in therapeutic indications in immunology, oncology, CNS and cardiovascular disease.
