Diagnostic Companies - TcLand Expression is a new generation personalized medicine company taking a pioneering and dominant position in the field of personalized treatment for immune mediated disorders.
- The company started by an unprecedented research in the field of tolerance after liver transplantation, i.e. finding potential predictive markers that could discriminate tolerant patients (about 40% in a 3-year multicentric prospective clinical study) who don’t need Immunosuppressive treatments post-transplantation.
- Furthermore the company is developing blood based markers to predict response or non response to TNF blocking agents in Rheumatoid Arthritis. Right now 40% of RA patients do not adequately respond to biologics, a major $8-10bn pharmaceutical market not yet served by companion diagnostics where the disruptive impact of blocking IP on drug life cycle management may create considerable strategic value for TcLand Expression. A first product candidate is to be launched in Rheumatoid Arthritis in 2012
- Before break even expected in Q2 2014, and to continue its fast growth and meet its developmental and business milestones, TcLand is launching a Series B EUR 15 million financing round with the objective to close it by mid 2011.
- The Company by its pioneering efforts in IMD and Immunology is building a series of proprietary companion diagnostics and a broad and deep intellectual property portfolio in the field using its technological platform and unique access to high quality biocollections. Its R&D is driven by an experienced and dedicated team of people.

- Non EU-based molecular diagnostics companies wishing to expand their operations in Europe,
- Pharma/Biotech companies interested in partnerships for companion diagnostics in transplantation or auto-immune disorders.
