National Alliance for Hispanic Health
The National Alliance for Hispanic Health is the nation’s foremost source of information and trusted advocate for the health of Hispanics in the United States. Alliance Hispanic community-based organization members provide services to more than 15 million each year and works to secure the best health outcomes for all, making a daily difference in the lives of Hispanic communities and families. Through its Projecto Ciencia (Science Project), the Alliance conducts research on the unique health experience of Hispanics, including issues of personalized medicine and provides scholarships, internships, and mentors to the next generation of Hispanic scientists. The organization published the landmark report, “Genes, Culture, and Medicines: Bridging Gaps in Treatment for Hispanic Americans,” available through the Alliance website, www.hispanichealth.org.
