American Medical Association

The mission of the AMA is to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health.  To that end, the AMA’s Program in Genetics and Molecular Medicine focuses on ensuring that physicians have the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize genetic technology, providing physicians with the tools and resources they require to integrate genetic technology, and advocating for the appropriate use of genetic technology in clinical practice.
