Please join us for the PMC's Third Annual Keynote Luncheon
Address on the State of Personalized Medicine

Keynote Speaker:

The Honorable Michael O. Leavitt
Secretary of Health and Human Services
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services

The PMC invites you to its Third Annual Keynote Luncheon Address on the State of Personalized Medicine.

Secretary Leavitt has identified Personalized Health Care as one of his priorities for 2007. Please join us as he frames his vision for improving Americans' health by transforming the health care system.

Secretary Leavitt envisions a system where: "Health care is tailored to the individual. Prevention is emphasized. Propensities for disease are identified and addressed through preemptive intervention. Discovery and innovation move higher quality and safer medical products to the market faster and more cost effectively."

Previous PMC Keynote Speakers include Dr. Francis Collins, Director, National Human Genome Research Institute, National Institutes of Health, and Dr. Andrew C. von Eschenbach, Commissioner, U.S. Food and Drug Administration
